Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose and application

This Acceptable Use Policy applies whenever you use Axiom, including practice, answer uploads, profiles, leaderboards, friendships, messages, feedback, reports, and support. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

You must use Axiom lawfully, safely, fairly, and for genuine personal educational purposes. Parents and guardians should discuss these rules with young users.

Safety and respectful conduct

You must not:

• bully, harass, threaten, stalk, shame, or intimidate another person;
• send unwanted sexual, violent, hateful, humiliating, or exploitative content;
• groom, exploit, or inappropriately contact a child or young person;
• encourage self-harm, suicide, violence, or dangerous conduct;
• discriminate against or vilify a person or group based on a protected attribute;
• impersonate another person, school, organisation, administrator, or Axiom representative;
• publish or threaten to publish another person’s private or identifying information;
• use Axiom for scams, fraud, extortion, blackmail, or unlawful activity.

Academic integrity

You must not use Axiom to:

• obtain or provide unauthorised assistance during a live examination, test, or assessment;
• submit Axiom output as your own work where independent work is required;
• help another person cheat or evade an institution’s academic-integrity rules;
• distribute Axiom questions or solutions to question banks or assessment-sharing services;
• misrepresent AI-generated feedback as an official mark from a teacher, school, or VCAA.

You may use Axiom for study, revision, and homework practice where your teacher or institution permits it. You are responsible for understanding the rules that apply to your course and assessment.

Uploads, messages, and profiles

You must not submit or share content that:

• is illegal, defamatory, obscene, abusive, deceptive, or seriously harmful;
• contains malware, malicious links, or instructions intended to compromise a system;
• infringes copyright, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, or another person’s rights;
• contains another person’s image, work, or personal information without appropriate permission;
• contains passwords, payment-card details, home addresses, or unnecessary sensitive information;
• advertises, solicits, or offers goods, services, accounts, or access for sale;
• constitutes spam, repetitive messaging, chain messaging, or unsolicited promotion.

Profile fields and avatars may be visible to others. Direct messages are intended for respectful student communication and may be reviewed by authorised administrators where reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, support, or legal compliance.

Platform and account integrity

You must not:

• share, sell, transfer, rent, or purchase an Axiom account;
• create accounts with false information or impersonate an eligible user;
• evade or attempt to evade a ban, mute, quota, rate limit, fair-use control, or payment requirement;
• probe, scan, exploit, or interfere with Axiom, its networks, APIs, authentication, or providers;
• access another user’s account, messages, submissions, or data without authority;
• reverse engineer the Service except to the limited extent law expressly permits;
• remove copyright, trade mark, security, or attribution notices;
• use an error or unintended behaviour to gain access or benefits and fail to report it.

Commercial, automated, and bulk use

Without prior written permission, you must not:

• use bots, scripts, browser automation, scraping tools, or automated account creation;
• systematically copy questions, solutions, feedback, ratings, or interface content;
• resell, sublicense, mirror, frame, or provide paid access to Axiom or its content;
• use personal plans to provide a tutoring, school, commercial marking, or competing service;
• generate unusually high request volumes inconsistent with normal personal study;
• benchmark or test the Service for publication in a misleading, unsafe, or access-evading way.

Reasonable assistive technology and ordinary browser features are permitted. Contact us if an accessibility tool is incorrectly blocked by an anti-automation control.

Reporting concerns

Report safety, abuse, copyright, security, or conduct concerns to support@mail.axiomvce.com. Include enough information to locate and understand the issue, but do not expose additional personal information unnecessarily.

Reports must be made honestly. Knowingly false, retaliatory, or abusive reports may themselves breach this policy.

Enforcement

Depending on seriousness, context, history, and risk, we may remove content, issue a warning, apply a temporary mute or restriction, suspend features, preserve relevant evidence, or terminate an account. We may act immediately where delay could expose a user or the Service to harm.

Where appropriate and practicable, we will explain a restriction and provide a way to contact support. We may report suspected unlawful activity or serious safety threats to an appropriate authority where permitted or required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update these rules as features, risks, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be notified under the Terms of Service. The date at the top identifies the current version.
